Our answers to frequently asked questions about the eXergie storage system basic kit
The „basic kit“ is a special version of the standard buffer cylinder from varmeco's basic series. In contrast to the standard storage tank, the kit is supplied perforated - i.e. in parts that are dismantled on site and welded together again later. This means that the storage tank can also be installed if transportation routes (e.g. stairs, narrow doors, winding cellars) do not allow the delivery of a complete tank.
The areas of application range from detached houses about Apartment buildings and residential complexes up to Industrial applications.
The storage tank therefore reliably covers both small and large heating and warming systems.
- Minimum room height: approx. 2000 mm.
- Minimum insertion opening: approx. 700 × 1800 mm - therefore relevant for doors or stairs, for example.
- Necessary: Tools for dismantling and reassembly, a suitable assembly site with a dry environment and sufficient lighting, possibly lifting gear or transport trolleys - depending on the cellar / construction site situation. varmeco | heat.use
- Welder: The storage tank may only be welded back together and checked for leaks by qualified specialists (in accordance with the currently valid welding standard, e.g. tested in accordance with DIN).

The kit has insulation with a standard thickness of 100 mm.
While the specific volumes of the „basic kit“ can vary depending on the planning, the basic series offers buffer storage tanks with volumes ranging from 550 l to 5,000 l.
- The storage tank must be professionally welded and checked for leaks.
- A suitable assembly area is required - with sufficient space for temporary storage and assembly tools.
Electrical connection or power supply and lighting must be available, depending on the installation conditions.
