VARIO fresh nova 3-unit cascade 50 U for ward and showers
The hot water required for the showers in the cabin wing is supplied by a 3-unit cascade. A fresh water heater
of this type has a flow rate of Q_60/70 = 128 l/min and Q_max = 264 l/min.
Also worth mentioning is the special design of the plate heat exchanger, free of non-ferrous metals (PWT VacInox).
VARIO fresh nova 2-cascade 50 U for ice preparation
The second system ensures smooth ice. The ice machine is filled with hot water in a flash, with a maximum water tank capacity of 1,010 liters. To prepare the ice, approx. 650 liters of 30-45 degree warm water are distributed over the 60x30m ice surface (1800 sqm) per trip - with around 10-20 trips per day.
In a single operation, the top layer of ice is first milled off and then hot water is applied. The aim is to produce the smoothest possible surface. The implementation of hot water preparation
is achieved by means of a 2-place cascade, which is also equipped with a VacInox plate heat exchanger (non-ferrous metal-free).
The waste heat from the refrigeration technology and heat from the nearby indoor swimming pool are used as heat sources.
