eXergy storage BackPack 4.0

Direct installation with system: compact, quick to install and material-efficient

  • Compact design: short connection lengths, low material requirements, short installation times
  • Flexible connection: 8 free connection sockets for a wide range of sophisticated hydraulic variants
  • Greater storage efficiency: 1 pair of extended loading/unloading pipes for better storage tank utilization; layered channel for temperature-appropriate return flow integration
  • Easy installation and maintenance: vent pipe on the side; removable, dimensionally stable and temperature-resistant insulation (150 mm in the head section)
  • Solar ready: integrated heat exchanger (*) for solar energy coupling

Areas of application

The BackPack buffer cylinder is a stratified cylinder for the direct installation of varmeco fresh water heaters.
It is suitable as a heating battery in a wide range of hydraulically demanding heating system variants. Thanks to its 10 connection sockets (8 of which can be used freely), heat generator circuits and heat consumer circuits with different temperature levels can be integrated at different heights. In addition to power decoupling of the circuits, this also achieves the advantageous hydraulic decoupling. The layered channel simplifies the temperature-compliant return connection without additional hydraulic effort and reduces undesirable mixing effects.
The smooth tube heat exchanger allows energy to be coupled in from a separate circuit. *)
