Social engagement in the region is particularly important to us at varmeco. That's why we supported the Hockey for Hope Charity Cup 2026 with in-kind donations for the tombola and are delighted to have been part of this special initiative.
The association Hockey for Hope e.V. is committed to collecting donations for children and young people in need and giving them new perspectives through various hockey sports such as inline, ice, and field hockey.

This year's benefit inline hockey tournament focused on community and helpfulness, alongside exciting games. A total of 16 teams with around 170 players participated – including teams with Kaufbeuren involvement. Together, they not only competed for goals and trophies, but most importantly, for a good cause. The result: a new record sum to support children and adolescents.
A particularly emotional part of the event was once again the collaboration with the Biberburg children's home. The children there designed the medals for the tournament and personally presented them to the participants – a beautiful tradition that makes the Charity Cup special every year.
With drinking bottles, cooler bags, towels, blocks, measuring tapes, and other small everyday helpers, we were able to contribute to the raffle.
