Mr. Delazer, what technical challenges do you typically encounter in hotels when it comes to the heat and hot water supply?
Mr. DelazerHotels typically experience heavily fluctuating domestic hot water loads and a very high peak demand in the morning and evening. Added to this are long circulation pipes and high hygiene requirements for protection against Legionella. Furthermore, various heat generators usually have to be combined today, such as heat pumps, solar thermal systems, PVT, gas boilers, or waste heat recovery. This makes the hydraulic integration significantly more complex.„
How did Varmeco help to master these requirements?
Mr. DelazerThe clear hydraulic structure of the varmeco systems makes such complex systems manageable. Different consumers and heat generators can be cleanly decoupled and operated stably. The hygienic fresh water technology, which delivers extremely stable hot water temperatures, was also particularly helpful for us. This is crucial, especially in hotels with heavily fluctuating loads. Even during high peak consumption, hot water is available quickly and constantly, without any loss of comfort for the guests. This is almost unique on the market in this form. Our experiences from hotel projects, for example with waste heat utilization or PVT connection, are positive. What surprised you the most about Varmeco technology?
Mr. DelazerThe stability in actual operation. I didn't expect it to that extent, because many systems initially look convincing in the planning stage, but later show weaknesses under changing loads or in control behavior. That was not the case here. Equally positive is the good controllability even at part load and the high operational reliability.„
