Start of 2026 at varmeco: technology, networking and clear guidelines for the future

For varmeco, the start of 2026 marked much more than the start of a new calendar year. In several coordinated formats, it became clear how consistently the company is pursuing its technological course: towards modular, digitally networked and systemically conceived solutions for modern building technology.
Sporting team spirit, intensive professional exchange and a shared view of the future combined to create a kick-off event that clearly demonstrated one thing: at varmeco, technology is always part of a larger whole.

Team spirit as the basis: the 4th varmeco soccer cup

The internal varmeco soccer cup kicked off on January 22, 2026 in the indoor soccer hall at Top-Fit in Kaufbeuren. Four teams competed against each other and ensured fair, committed matches in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Cup stood less for sporting competition than for solidarity and togetherness - values that also play a central role in everyday working life at varmeco. The award ceremony took place as part of the official start to the year and rounded off the joint start to the kick-off events.

Sales workshop 2026: Modularization, digitalization and system solutions

In terms of content, the 2026 sales workshop clearly focused on technology. Sales, product management and solution developers came together in Kaufbeuren to sharpen the strategic and technological focus for 2026.

Three leitmotifs ran through all the discussions:

  • Modularization as the basis for flexible, scalable system concepts

  • Digitization to simplify planning, operation and service

  • Networking of generators, storage systems, consumers and control

Among other things, new modular local heating solutions, digitally networked home stations and modular systems for system monitoring and management were presented and discussed. The aim is to intelligently manage technical complexity while creating maximum transparency and operational reliability.

It became clear that the future of building technology does not lie in individual products, but in sophisticated system solutions that can be flexibly adapted to different requirements.

Start of the year at the Elbseerestaurant: review and technical outlook

At the official start of the year on January 23, 2026 in the Elbseerestaurant, Managing Director Thomas Zimpel looked back on a year in which decisive technological foundations were laid:

„2025 was a year in which we set an important course - particularly in the further development of our systems and the integration of technology and digitalization.“

Among other things, the first pilot systems of new eXergiemaschine performance classes, AI-supported approaches to storage loading and the introduction of the James CRM system as a central tool for sales, project work and customer communication were highlighted.

Managing Director Philipp Stockklausner assessed the economic development and emphasized the importance of stable, efficient solutions in a challenging market environment:

„Our aim is to develop technology that brings measurable benefits to our partners in the trade, in planning and in operation - technically, economically and in day-to-day handling.“

The focus for 2026 is therefore not only on new products, but also on the further expansion of digital processes - from system monitoring and internal processes to the customer portal and online store.

Together towards the future

The start of 2026 made it clear that technological innovation at varmeco is the result of teamwork, a clear strategy and consistent systems thinking. With a strong focus on modularization, digitalization and efficient networking, varmeco is making a united start to a year that will once again be dominated by intelligent building technology.
