Course description
In recent years, energy consumption for heating has been greatly reduced in buildings. However, no such savings have been made for hot water. In addition, hot water consumption has tended to increase. In the past, little importance was attached to the energy share of drinking water production, as the share of the total heating load in the building was around 15 %. This has changed dramatically in recent decades with the EnEV. Today, the proportion is more like half, with trends towards much higher hot water loads compared to the space heating load. In this course, you will learn how to efficiently provide your customers with a constant supply of hot water and which systems are best suited for this purpose.
