Structure

Domestic hot water heating
The FWE basic 25-45 heats drinking water using the flow-through method. When a hot water tap is opened, the integrated controller registers the flow rate sensor and starts the charging pump at the correct speed. This pumps water from the cylinder through the stainless steel plate heat exchanger in the quantity that exactly covers the heating requirement for hot water preparation. The hot water temperature can be adjusted to demand via 6 switching points per day of the week. Important information for fresh water heating is continuously stored and processed in the controller's neural network. This enables it to “learn” and adapt its behavior to the respective operating conditions.

Circulation mode
The integrated circulation pump control recognizes demand and time-dependent operating modes. For example, with the „demand-dependent“ option, the circulation pump is started by the brief withdrawal of domestic hot water (shot glass tapping). The „TAKT“ operating mode allows the circulation pump to be started or stopped by freely adjustable run and pause times. This allows energy saving and convenience to be combined. Here too, the operating modes can be adapted to requirements via 6 switching points per weekday. Ideal for single-family homes.

Switching function for storage tank recharging
The switching function of the VarCon211-basic compact controller enables storage tank charging via the standard temperature sensor TF02 as heat source control, signal transmitter control or charging pump control. It is described in detail on the following page.

The FWE basic device is a fresh water heater (instantaneous water heater) with electronic controller type VarCon211 for use in domestic installations for heating drinking water.

It is predestined for use in single and multi-family homes for new builds and refurbishment of heating systems in terms of hygiene and energy saving. It is also suitable for the decentralization of domestic hot water heating in larger building complexes.

Hygienic and energy-efficient as a matter of principle

Flow-through drinking water heating is hot water heating of the highest hygienic quality. We use generously dimensioned plate heat exchangers, which ensure the coldest return temperatures to the cylinder. There is no more energy-efficient way to heat water. Our control process varies the speed of the high-efficiency charging pump. This means that only as much electrical auxiliary energy is used as is absolutely necessary.

Instead of a hygiene-critical boiler, the buffer cylinder filled with heating water now takes over the task of storing energy. This is because the heat generator is usually unable to provide as much energy and as dynamically as would be required at the moment the hot water is needed.
Pleasant side effects:

  • The buffer not only stores the energy for heating water, but also for space heating.
  • The heat generator is no longer clocked.
  • When solar energy is integrated, this system configuration automatically becomes a solar heating system with backup heating. Domestic hot water preparation and space heating can be operated in equal measure.
  • The storage tank is hygienically insignificant, there are no high-quality material requirements. Even obsolete drinking water storage tanks can be converted.
