Connectivity - Networking - Management

Connect systems intelligently. Use data efficiently. Manage energy in a targeted manner.

The connectivity and management solutions from varmeco create the basis for networked, energy-efficient heat management. From simple internet connection and building management system (BMS) integration to central data analysis and alarm management - all varmeco systems can be intelligently connected and conveniently monitored.
With the WEBcom 2.0, all varmeco controllers of the VarCon211 series are online-capable. It acts as a Modbus master and enables central operation, monitoring and data acquisition - locally or via the varmeco Management Server (VMS). This makes systems transparent, efficient and easy to control.

Standardized BMS interfaces and gateways are used to connect to existing building management systems. The Modbus RTU protocol ensures smooth communication between the varmeco components and higher-level control systems.

The varmeco Management Server (VMS) provides the central platform for energy management, system monitoring and fault management. With continuous data recording and precise consumption analyses, it supports the development of an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001, making potential savings visible and optimizations measurable. The integrated alarm and message management also ensures maximum operational reliability. All system messages are prioritized, visualized and, if desired, automatically forwarded by e-mail - so that no event goes unnoticed.

Frequently asked, simply explained: connectivity networking management

With varmeco's connectivity and management solutions, all system components can be intelligently linked. Controllers, storage tanks, transfer stations and fresh water technology are recorded, monitored and controlled centrally - locally or online. The result is transparent, energy-efficient heat management.

WEBcom 2.0 makes controllers from the VarCon211 series internet-capable and acts as a Modbus master. It enables centralized operation, documentation and data acquisition - either directly on site or via the varmeco Management Server (VMS). This makes the entire system easy to control and more efficient to operate.
It can connect connected VarCon211 controllers to a BMS in order to provide this data transparently for our customers (important function). A detailed data point list is provided.
Individual system visualization is offered for the various VarCon211 controllers (VARIO fresh-nova, VARIO fresh-nova+, VARIO eXchange, eXm-compact).

The VMS is the central platform for energy management, consumption analysis and fault management. Through continuous data recording, alarm management and BMS integration, it creates the basis for an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. Savings potential becomes visible, operating statuses transparent and optimizations measurable, important software updates can be installed and online access facilitates service support in the event of problems.

Integration into existing BMS systems takes place via standardized interfaces and gateways. The Modbus RTU protocol ensures reliable communication between varmeco controllers and the higher-level building automation system. This allows all operating states to be monitored reliably and integrated seamlessly into the BMS concept. Conversion of the standard "Modbus RTU" protocol by varmeco gateways to Modbus TCP, BACnet.

The integrated alarm management prioritizes and visualizes all relevant system messages. If desired, notifications can be sent automatically by e-mail. This increases operational reliability and allows you to react quickly to faults - before they lead to outages or energy losses.

By continuously recording temperature, quantity and consumption data, the VMS creates the basis for structured energy management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. Energy flows become transparent, optimization potential becomes visible and improvements can be clearly measured.
