Thanks to the effective, contactless heat transfer from the heating water to the drinking water, the FWE basic 25-45 works perfectly with a heat pump and delivers up to 5 l/min more tap capacity than comparable fresh water heaters with an identical energy supply.
Its control system is intuitive to operate and a commissioning wizard makes it easy to set up after installation. The device is Modbus-compatible and fits perfectly into modern heating systems.
Thanks to its revised hydraulics and quality water pump, the FWE basic 25-45 is just as durable and easy to maintain as the larger fresh water heaters from varmeco. The new appliance has the same design-related limescale protection as its sister models.
Fresh water heater counteracts germs
Fresh water heaters such as the FWE basic 25-45 work as instantaneous water heaters and thus ensure hygiene. Pathogens such as the dangerous legionella bacteria are inhibited in their growth because no hot drinking water is stored with this operating principle.
With the fresh water heater, heating water stored in a heating cylinder is used to heat drinking water to the right temperature without contact using a heat exchanger.
The instantaneous water heater principle therefore prevents hot water from standing for long periods of time.
In a domestic hot water storage tank, on the other hand, as was common in the past, the proliferation of legionella must be prevented in a different way: The entire contents of the storage tank must be regularly heated above 60 °C, which costs a lot of energy.
