Calculation of the standard heating load according to DIN EN 12831-3: Contents & practical examples
With Part 3 of the new DIN EN 12831 in white print edition 2017-09, the standard describes a procedure for calculating the standard heating load for domestic hot water heating systems, their heating load and demand determination. In the seminar, we will explain the most important contents of the standard and its implementation in practice using the new SOLARCOMPUTER program „DHW heating systems DIN EN 12831-3“. We look forward to seeing you!

On the topic
The planning of modern DHW heating systems that meet demand and hygiene requirements, including heat load and storage volume for residential and non-residential buildings, is becoming increasingly important. DIN EN 12831-3 is the appropriate set of rules for this and a new SOLAR-COMPUTER program with the latest software technology implements the set of rules using the summation curve method.
Target group
The seminar is aimed at technical building services planners, architects, energy consultants, civil engineers, specialist tradesmen, authorities and those responsible for building planning.
Learning objectives
The aim of our technical seminar is to give you an overview of the basics of DIN EN 12831-3 and to show you how to implement it in practice.
Methods
Slide presentation (theory). Case studies and working concept (software live).
