Atlantis Dorsten is one of the largest and most successful leisure pools in Germany. Every year, over 1,300 m2
water area and a generously designed sauna garden invite more than 400,000 visitors to immerse themselves in a „vacation on your doorstep“.
The tropical landscape around the Baltic Sea cutter „Ole Wismar“, the five high-tech slides with a total length of 390 m and an in-house fitness studio create ideal conditions for the whole family. With five high-tech slides with a total length of 390 m, a spacious sauna garden and fitness area, Atlantis is a popular destination.
In order to improve the efficiency of the heat management and maintain low return temperatures on the heating water side, the hot water preparation was replaced. The previous 6,000 liter domestic hot water storage tank was repurposed as a heating water storage tank and now serves as an additional CHP buffer tank. Thanks to the VARIO fresh-nova cascade, CHP operation is now also possible almost continuously in summer. In addition, the storage capacity of the CHP buffer storage tank increases because it now operates with a higher spread (+10 Kelvin).
