The aim of the modernization at the Gocksch butchery was to improve process water hygiene and process control while reducing energy consumption.

Another important requirement was to optimize the use of the CHP unit.

The modernization drastically reduced the volume of domestic hot water - by 20,000 liters. In addition, the CHP recharging capacity was decoupled from the domestic hot water load, so that the CHP running time could be extended considerably.
